3. Are the properties private or do we have to share?
Each Suite is a private apartment for your sole use. The only communal areas are the Great Hall and the grounds. Orton Hall is surprisingly large and private and you can meet other people or not, as you prefer. There are a number of permanent residents at Orton Hall as well as holidaymakers so please be considerate of others.
4. Do you serve food?
No, each property is self-contained and has a fully equipped kitchen.
5. Is there a pub nearby?
Yes, the George Hotel is 300 yards away and serves good food in a restaurant
setting or at the bar.
6. What else is there in Orton?
A Post Office and shop, tearooms and Kennedy's Chocolate Factory. Orton is
a beautiful village in a very picturesque setting. Please look at the
website for a description and pictures.
7. What time is check in and
check out?
We ask you
to arrive any time after 4pm and to depart by 11am. These timings can be
changed by arrangement.
8. Do you allow dogs?
I'm sorry, but dogs are not allowed at Orton Hall
9. Can I smoke at Orton Hall?
No, no smoking is permitted anywhere in the Hall, including all apartments , communal areas or the grounds.

Do you take credit cards?
We accept all credit cards and debit cards except American Express.
11. Do you offer short breaks?
Yes, we offer holidays from 2 nights to a number of weeks.
12. Do you have any special
offers or late deals?
We
offer late deals and special offers 1 to 3 weeks in advance. Outside of
this timeframe we do not offer discounts. If you wish to be kept abreast
of our late deals then join our mailing list available on the site.

It's our honeymoon/wedding anniversary/birthday...Can you do something special?
Orton Hall is perfect for that special occasion. We can supply a quality
champagne and handmade chocolates for £29.
14. Is there anywhere to store
our bikes?
Yes, there
is a covered store to the left of the Hall.
