| Orton Hall is a superb Grade 2 listed Jacobean Mansion built in 1662 and standing in 7 acres of mature parkland and woods in the heart of Cumbria, and nestled on the edge of the picturesque Orton Village.
The Hall is accessed by large electronic gates that proceed up a long, tree-lined gravel drive to reveal the impressive accommodation and surrounding landscape. The peace and tranquility are almost deafening as you walk up to the steps to the front door and enter the magnificent oak panelled Great Hall, complete with Log Fire, Grand Piano and Snooker Table. This room with stone mullioned windows and carved oak fireplace provides a superb centre piece for the house.
We have a range of accommodation to meet your requirements, including one and two-bedroom suites, complete with modern conveniences and decorated to extremely high standards yet still managing to retain their period character and charm.
All guests have full use of the grounds in addition to the Great Hall and complimentary membership to the nearby North Lakes Health Spa for the duration of your stay regardless of it being a weekend, short break or an extended holiday.
